ESSE Doctoral Symposium


The 2019 edition of the Doctoral Symposium, which continues an ESSE tradition dating from 2012 and is designed to provide a platform for young scholars to present and receive feedback on their work, will be organized at the Institute of English Studies, University of Wrocław, on 27-28 August 2019. The Symposium is open to PhD students who are writing their theses in English Studies and are at least in the second year of work on their doctorate at the time of the Symposium.

15:30-17:30 Sightseeing tour of the city

17:50-19:50 Welcome reception, boat ride along the Odra river (BULWAR)
